Big news: you can now call your friends in 360° with your Giroptic iO!
iO 360 app now allows you to make immersive true 360° video calls with your friends in a snap!
No need for your beloved ones to download the app, 360 video calls works on mobile ( iOS / Android ) and desktop browsers ( Mac / PC )!
Setting a call is very easy:
- Open the app, plug your camera and select the new 'call' mode
- Press the 'call ' button
- Share the link of the call using the service of your choice ( Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, email etc... )
- You're all set: you’ll be notified when your friend joins the call and then will be able to communicate in real time in 360°with him/her !
On his side, when clicking on the link you sent, your friend will be able to experience the call:
- within the app if he has already downloaded it
- in his mobile browser on iPhone ( iOS11 + only ) and Android
- on his laptop using his desktop browser ( Chrome / Firefox )
***Important***
Be sure you are calling someone that has a recent device, following the requirements:
- iOS: an iPhone 6 and more is required, as well as iOS11
- Android: Lollypop 5.0 and more, with Chrome browser. Works also with Samsung mobile browser on Samsung S7 Edge and S8.
- Desktop: Only on Mac OS and Windows, browsers: Safari 11+, Firefox, Chrome
