Mcculloch Chainsaw Power 6 Manual Instructions
You can tell a lot on how your saw is performing by looking at the McCulloch Power Mac 6 spark plug electrode to see if the saw is running correctly or needs a tune up. If the plug is black the air filters is clogged up or the fuel is stale fouling out the spark plug. If the spark plug is white or gray the saw is running to lean and hot which will cause your engine to fail. If the sparkplug is burning tan in color you can safely say it is performing at peak performance. Suitable Replacement McCulloch Power Mac 6 Spark PlugThe spark plug is a device for delivering an electric current from the ignition coil to the combustion chamber to ignite the compressed fuel and air mixture. The McCulloch Power Mac 6 spark plug has a threaded metal shell and a porcelain shell with a electrode in the center and a ground electrode. The high voltage from the ignition coil travels through an insulated spark plug wire to the terminal on top of the spark plug, then travels down the electrode threw the porcelain insulator to the ground electrode which is connected to the metal bottom body of the spark plug and is screwed into the cylinder. Spark plugs can either have a metal gasket to seal the spark plug to the cylinder or a taper spark plug to seal the spark plug to the cylinder. The heat from the McCulloch Power Mac 6 spark plug is dissipated to the cylinder to help keep the spark plug cool.
